~Righteous~ Thursday, Mar. 20, 2003 - 9:30 AM Okay, might I introduce you to Righteous. This, like the last ones, off the CD Icon recorded. Still Recorded in Sound Base Studios. "Righteous is about people who are told they are scum, freaks, and wierdos..etc. People that were told that they have no future, so they go that extra inch to prove that they can do these things. Then they end up better than the other people. It's about when people tell you that you're nothing, but somewhere, somehow somebody does believe in you. The funny thing about this song, and a typical quirk of jay........at the end you hear Drew singing "Never walk alone". For those who don't recognize it.....it's the chant for Liverpool F.C. Jays fave team in the premiership.(if I got that right) Jay has been a Liverpool fan for years.....right down to L.F.C. fucking wallpaper! It's funny as hell! So ya......there you go.
