~You would think it was Canada here~ Tuesday, Jun. 03, 2003 - 6:03 PM We have had 2 really fucked up days. Yesterday 2 full grown Moose walked onto the UofA campus. They wandered around a bit, then laid down and started sunbathing. Special animal control people were called in. The Moose were hit with tranquilizers, and transported out of tow, then they woke them up, and watched them walk away. I laughed. This morning The Whitemud Freeway came to a standstill because a deer was wandering down the road. It was having a happy little stroll. This afternoon 170st over by West Edmonton Mall came to a standstill. Why? A duck and her 6 ducklings decided to cross the road. 2 days, lots of wildlife wandering through.
